Thumbnail and hook test for Animation channels
Your thumbnail is judged next to real animation videos, by people who watch animation videos anyway. Not by your friends, and not by a general audience that would click anything.
Sign up gives you 5 credits. One review you give = one credit.
What your thumbnail is up against
Animation thumbnails live or die on a readable character pose and a single strong colour; next to studio-grade art, a busy frame reads as noise at feed size.
Where the first 60 seconds usually breaks here
Animated shorts usually lose people to a long intro card or a silent setup before the first joke or the first movement.
How matching works
You pick Animation as your niche and your language when you sign up. Tests are offered to reviewers in the same niche and language first, and you can opt into up to three extra niches and two extra languages if you want more to review.
What a test looks like
- One to three thumbnails and titles, plus your first 60 seconds.
- Each reviewer sees one thumbnail-title pair in a feed with five real videos from the niche.
- They say what the video promises, then watch until they would have left.
- You ask for 5, 10 or 15 reviewers — one credit each, unused credits refunded after 72 hours.
